Home cooked, cash-only comfort food served in a clean, comfortable, friendly environment...Folks at Granny's are friendly. The food is made from scratch and top-notch. Prices are very reasonable--I might even say cheap. Definitely a real value. You can custom order if you want. There's plenty of parking and it's wheelchair-friendly. I'm a fool for comfort food and as comfort food goes, this is on a par with the best I've ever had. We went for breakfast, and it was a meal to remember. I got the Hungry Man Breakfast and suggested they cover the whole thing with gravy. The waitress seemed incredulous, but reluctantly agreed to do just that. It turned out to be more than I bargained for...What a mound of deliciousness! Embarrassing. If they ever decide to make this a menu item, I hope they name it after me. I don't think I'll be needing lunch. When I get back to this neck of the woods, I'll definitely stop by again. A great little spot for a tasty, hot meal!

We did no research on this place, we happened to end up there on a drive. The food was good. We were waited on quickly and didn't even wait 10 minutes for our food. However, we didn't know until we got to the register that they didn't accept cards. My husband had to leave me there and go up the road to the bank and get money out. Needs a sign on the door.

Food os pretty good, just take an extra change of clothes with you for when you leave.

Unfriendly people for a small southern Indiana restaurant. Sat for 5-10 minutes just to be asked what we'd like to drink. It was in the morning "must have coffee, please" and they were not busy. It took even longer to take our order. This all would have been offset if the staff were friendly. The food tasted good, however within 2 hours my friend and I were both sick.

The food was great. Portions were huge. Coleslaw was delicious. Mom and I will be eating there again. Prices were also very good. My country fried steak was cheaper than Bob Evans and larger quantities. Next time hope to try a dessert too. Home cooking!

This place has the best food and great help most of the time .. but for some reason on this day, I ordered my usual sandwich platter, ( SUPPER BIG GIRL.. which tastes just exactly like a Frisch's Big Boy) which comes with fries and a slaw, ( I trade my slaw for a salad) and I ordered an extra side of fried mushrooms... so my husband and I could share them, and for some strange reason I got my salad I got my sandwich and I got my mushrooms... I lost my French fries... then I take a bite out of my sandwich, they've changed the tartar sauce, they've changed the burgers and it didn't taste nothing like a Frisch's Big Boy anymore... first time I've ever had that kind of mistake happen at this restaurant, I still give it 5 Stars cuz I've been going for years and this is my first time ever having a mistake on my order. And the first time I've had this sandwich, that it's been changed... PLEASE ..... PUT THINGS BACK THE WAY IT WAS...

Unfriendly people, service was as slow as pond water. Food tasted good but 30 minutes later my friend and I were both running to the restroom.

We were traveling from Madison back home and was searching for a place to eat breakfast. So glad we found Granny's. Friendly, good service and the breakfast was great. Will stop in again when we visit Madison again.

We arrived hungry for breakfast and left filled up! Hubby ordered the Hungry Man's Breakfast and I had the eggs with 1/2 biscuits and gravy with bacon. The food was prepared fresh. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere inside is humble and homey. Our favorite item was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy is clearly homemade and has more of a flour-y taste, but is so delicious and creamy. We would return and recommend!

Unexpectedly very good. It looks like your average truck stop greasy spoon, the service was fast and friendly. Our waitress was great. I was very pleased with our experience here.

They need to change the name. Nothing on that menu screams "home cooking". Breaded tenderloin sandwich was right out of a box frozen as was the burger. Don't plan on using a credit card for payment.

Quaint mom and pop style home cooking. Small town restaurant full of small town hospitality. Breakfast is FIVE STARS, best biscuits and gravy around. For lunch and dinner you can't beat the tenderloin, country fried steak, or waffle fries. Granny's vegetable soup has no equal.

We stopped there this past Sunday riding our motorcycles in Indiana to Kentucky. It was a hot day stopped there just to get something to drink. Looked at the menu and had a few quarter burgers were great. Will stop back again

The food use to be so much better before the remodel but it does look so much better in there not sure if they except credit cards or not yet. The employees are all nice and that makes it great

Best biscuits n gravy! All food just like granny use to make on the wood stove and cast iron skillets. Yummy in my tummy.
